The Laravel & VueJs roadmap

What we shipped with the move to laravel-vuejs.space, and what comes next: more tutorials, a newsletter, a better jobs board and an easier way to contribute.

The first roadmap for this project was a checklist for a GraphQL API: single posts, featured posts, posts by category and tag, search, newsletter and auth. Most of those features shipped in the original Laravel + Nuxt version.

In 2026 we rebuilt the site from scratch. Here is where things stand.

Shipped#

  • New home: laravel-vuejs.space
  • Static site built with Astro, served from Cloudflare’s edge
  • A new design, with dark mode, readable typography and syntax-highlighted code
  • Posts as Markdown files, so anyone can contribute with a pull request
  • RSS feeds, sitemap and clean URLs
  • Client-side search over every article

Next#

  • More tutorials: Laravel 13, Vue 3.5 and 3.6, Inertia 3, testing with Pest
  • Newsletter: a short monthly email with the best Laravel and Vue links
  • Jobs board: listings on the site, not only in the Facebook group
  • Contributor guide: a style guide and templates for new authors
  • Series: multi-part guides, from a first app to production
